Brace yourself as we have massive breaking news! Apple has sold a lot of the newly released iPhone 6! Okay, we’re done, now everyone disperse. Shocking right? Well Apple has done it again and the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have broke records for Apple as it has sold 39.3 million iPhones in the last quarter. Apple reported 23.7 billion in sales for the larger version iPhone which was more than half of the total sales of 42.1 billion. That is a 21% increase in iPhone sales over the last quarter last year. however iPad revenue fell as sales dropped 14% to 5.3 billion which has been a  growing trend for the Cupertino tech giant with their famous tablet.

So what is in store for Apple in the last and biggest quarter of 2014? $63.5 billion and $66.5 billion which is way over analysts projections of 63.7 billion in sales. Way to go Tim Cook as he once again as held off naysayers since his promotion to Apple Head Honcho in 2011. The iPhone 6, which is arguabley the biggest move away from Steve Job’s direction with the iPhone cannot be solely be given credit to Tim Cook. The fact that a massive market shift and public outcry (me included) for a larger iPhone made this a no brainer for anyone to have got right. What’s next Tim? Let’s get that Apple Watch off of tethering and make it a stand alone device shall we?

  1. Now what this tells, our Congress doesn’t know what to use and apart from that
iPad Sales vs. Surface Pro 3 sales tell one thing (hey don’t compare the number iPads sold vs. number Surface pro 3 sold, and even a kid knows there are more iPads out there than Surface Pro 3), and it is key metric, which is on the raise. And that is important in the long term projection.
