Facebook for iPhone and iPad Updated Finally!

If you have an iPhone you must have had the same painful experience as I have been having with crashes and generally slow as molasses page loading! It had gotten to the point I quite using it on my iPhone and use the browser on my iPad. Well today Facebook has finally released a new version of it’s app to version 5.0. Here’s what’s new:

We’ve rebuilt the app so it’s faster and easier to use.
* Scrolling through news feed is faster than ever
* New banner lets you tap to quickly see more stories – no need to refresh
* Photos open fast and close with one downward swipe
* Instant access to your notifications

I just updated on my iPhone and the photo viewing is really nice. Everything down to scrolling seems better. So far so good with no crashes so if you are using the iPhone or iPad, head over to iTunes and get your update!
