AT&T Stock ROM

Does anyone have the STOCK AT&T Tilt II ROM yet?

I have not found it, and am anxious to start flashing.. but want to be able to go back to STOCK if i need to...

With the thanks of da_g from xda website we together got all of the needed files to create a stock rom with correct radio, spl, splash screen and os 21849. Only use this rom if you are an at&t user to go back to stock rom or you need to flash the stock rom for warranty return.

I used the old style kitchen so if you are a cook and what to use this rom....it is unlocked and can be converted into packages as needed as well.

Is this tested? Was this built off a dump or is it an official ROM from AT&T?

found it on xda, a few threads linked to it when people asked for an AT&T tilt 2 stock rom, but I did not test it myself. Let me dig more and I'll report back.

It lacks the stock radio and the stock boot splash. As for the stock SPL I have Olipro's on my site but I don't know if AT&T has their own SPL. What I really doubt is if they employ people in their warranty department who are capable of and inclined to spot such subtle differences.

One guy in the thread produced what he identifies as a dump of the stock AT&T SPL but I ain't testing it. Another guy reports that he's used the rom and it does work which I assume means it runs not that it necessarily works in that it's either the same or close-enough to the stock for warranty purposes in his estimation. I'm happy right now with NRG all tweaked up to my liking so I don't really want to flash this thing just to double check plus I don't remember too well what the stock was like to compare.

I don't know much about rom dumping but I have a feeling that in order to come up with such a rom, lacking an official exe from AT&T, one has to get their phone to "dump" all its data out and then that guy needs to "reconstruct" the thing into a flashable package that operates the same way. In other words this thing's fairly legit sounding. For warranty purposes.

Most importantly for warranty purposes if you flashed a rom that burned in a weird boot splash you'll want more than just a stock[-like] rom like this to prep yourself for a warranty as this will not restore the AT&T splash, the initial one. I'll report when I've got something more solid. I've searched quite a lot and it just seems that this is as close as you're gonna get. I've returned multiple phones with weird custom rom splashes without a problem but I understand people want to be very careful here.

Thanks Doug, I flashed this ROM back last friday and have been out of pocket this weekend. I have to return my ($%^&*%#) Tilt 2 as soon as I can get the stock Boot Splash, Radio, and SPL back on. The ROM works fine, and I will report back ASAP when I find the rest of the pieces to the puzzle as I am needing them FAST!

on this thread da_g is trying to get the stock shipped rom.

ok i have the spl(0.87), radio(4.48.25.20), and os(wm6.5 21849) complete.....the only thing i lack is splash and i will have a complete tilt 2 rom

@mattchapman i may need your help to reconstruct a splash at&t stock screen. i need this in done in a .nb format and not .nbh
