Once you say you are ‘looking at your options’ and trying to figure out what to do with your PC line you’ve sort of let the cat out of the bag. Looks like HP has learned that becoming a business only company may not pan out for them so they want to get that cat back in the bag and make it clear that they are not looking to end their PC line. Rather, it’s a spin-off. Here’s their latest ad:

Think this is too late? It’s still their “preferred course” and really if you’re having a public conversation you have to get your act together and figure out your strategy before public discourse.
