HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio officially announced

HTC in August made a pretty big investment in August to Beats Audio and had Dr. Dre on hand to bring the cool factor for the 300 million dollar check HTC wrote. So what does the 300 dollars get spent on first? How about a T-Mobile Sensation XE with Beats Audio 1.5GHz dual core processor beast!  The Sensation will not only have a ton of horsepower under the hood but you also won’t have to worry about breaking the glass screen with all that beats Audio thumpin’ that will be going on thanks to Owen Corning’s Gorilla Glass that will be used. Gingerbread will be installed as Ice Cream Sandwich remains a months out of reach to OEMS and only Sense 3.0. We were hoping for Sense 3.5 but will have to settle for 3.0.

The Sensation XE will be a tad on the beefy side with specs measuring 126.1mm x 65.4mm x 11.3mm (4.96" x 2.57" x 0.44"). The Sensation tale of the tape concludes with a 151 grams (5.33 ounces) with battery overall weight. The screen will be 4.3 inches of qHD goodness (540×960) resolution. Look for the Sensation XE with Beats Audio to start hitting the shelves at the end of September.

Sound good to you? (no pun intended of course!)
