Say what? According to a posting over at Black Hat, malicious software can be loaded up to an iPhone 5 via the lightning port in as time as under a minute. Apple came out a few months ago and announced the main reason the new lightning chargers were so expensive is because they pretty much had little computers on board. Sure, it sounded fancy at the time, but is this the price they pay?
A prototype of the replica charger is said to be in existence already, the scary part? The malicious software does not require a jailbreak and bypasses iOS’s current security measures. Scary stuff huh.
