More Free WP7 Games To Check: Finger Race, Falling Chickens and NinjaBoy

Lot of solid games hit the Marketplace in the last day so instead of bombarding you one at a time let’s go for a trifecta. We have the classic game of Finger Race, a puzzler called Falling Chickens and a motion controlled jump/action plat former called NinjaBoy. One at a time though:

Finger Race is Herm’s Software’s latest release. Like the classic version from the iPhone, the goal is simple – run with your fingers as fast as you can while competing with an online leaderboard. You can choose from one of five tracks, three different distances (sprinters versus distance finger runners I guess) or you can see how far you can get in 30 seconds. It’s free and available now. FYI there’s a glitch in how the leaderboards show up now but a fix is already in submission.

Next let’s go to a puzzle/logic game that’s really well put together called Falling Chickens. You need to get the chickens in the right order. You rotate the screen, tap a chicken and it falls. There are tools and obstacles along the way though and I’ve played it for a bit and it’s a lot of fun while keeping you thinking about the best solution. So you know, this is the second version available so there’s not a free (ad based) version along with a paid version that’s ad free (for $1.29). Smooth graphics and gameplay with a lot of levels make it a great package.

And let’s end this with NinjaBoy that carries a similar free/paid version (with the paid version being $3.99). here you need to tilt the screen and jump to hit the targets and get through the boards as quick as possible. As the game advances, so do your abilities. Both versions are receiving very high marks in the reviews.

Let’s give their complete description:

Take control of young Tadeo, aka NinjaBoy, as you jump, run and chop your way through level-after-level of carefully crafted platform-puzzler Ninja gameplay. Set within the Kingdom of Di, you’ll need to overcome both classic and new platformer challenges: tripwires, springs, Sentry Bots, Stompers, Pikemen, magical platforms, Wing Chun Guards, climbing poles, and even a boss, Lord Hito, as you look to defeat the kingdom’s evil emperor and restore peace to the region.
This version is exactly the same as the paid one "NinjaBoy", except it has in-game Ads.

About the Devs:
NinjaBoy is built by the Danton brothers, the same brothers behind Akiak and Flying Heads. We’re indie devs. That means we have fulltime day jobs and build games because we love it :). We hope you like playing them. If you do enjoy them, please tell your friends and support our work with great reviews. Thanks in advance!
2 Ton Studios:
We recently established 2 Ton Studios as our web presence for delivering WP7 content. Danton Entertainment will remain as our publishing name on WP7 for the near future — other than that it’s the same two brothers making games :). Come visit us at 2tonstudios.com or email us at feedback@2tonstudios.com. Cheers!

You can definitely see the attention to detail in both the gameplay and graphics in this title.

Anyway, lots to choose from regardless of what you’re into so get your download on.
