Today I’ve got another ram review for you, this time from Patriot Memory.  The kit is 4gigs of their Viper II Sector 5 1600Mhz ram that comes with an added bonus of a full license for 3DMark Vantage. I’ve put it up against a 4gb 1600Mhz kit of Kingston HyperX for comparison and it fares well.

Star Wars Stormtrooper 2GB Mimobot Review @ ThinkComputers.org

Review URL: http://www.thinkcomputers.org/star-wars-stormtrooper-2gb-mimobot-review/

Quote: “Designer flash drives have been around for quite a while and Mimobot has been one of the top names when it comes to cool designer flash drives. They have quite a few cool flash drives that have their own interesting designs. Their line of licensed flash drives includes Hello Kitty, Star Wars, Halo, Domo, and Happy Tree Friends. Of course when they asked us if we wanted to review a drive we picked Star Wars. They were nice enough to send us their Stormtrooper Unmasked 2GB drive. It is called Unmasked because you have a 50/50 change of receiving Han or Luke. Read on to see which drive we received !"

Choosing the Best LCD Panel Technology @ Benchmark Reviews

DESCRIPTION: It’s a well-known fact that nearly all consumers purchase their monitor based on size and price alone. Like everything we shop for, it is human instinct to get as much as possible for as little as possible. So why should we bother ourselves with the details, and what difference could it possibly make? Most people aren’t even aware of the different construction processes used to produce the widescreen monitor that rests on their desks. Benchmark Reviews explores the various LCD monitor technologies used by manufacturers to produce computer monitors, and matches application to architecture for our readers.

Antec Notebook Cooler 200
QUOTE: "Gaming with a laptop computer is becoming more prevalent every day. I mean, if you want an i7 processor and a fast GPU, it seems there are many offerings out there built like this. The screens are getting bigger, the resolution higher, and with that and the demand of newer game titles, it can really work the laptop into a heated frenzy. I am not so blessed as my laptop has a lowly Intel 4 Series GPU, but it still allows me to tinker around in Half Life 2, Left 4 Dead, and of course a bit of CS:S on low to medium settings. My problem with gaming is twofold outside of the lowered graphics settings. The keyboard gets hot, as the CPU tends to stew in its juices with the cooler on it, and the hard drive makes a hot plate out of the left palm rest area.
Antec has sent over the Notebook Cooler 200 for me to have a look at, taking cues from the Skeleton series of the industrial open design and using a bit of the honeycomb mesh we are used to seeing. Not only is the fan blowing upward this time, Antec uses a two speed Big Boy 200mm, blue LED fan that can push some serious amounts of airflow and with it, very little noise. Even though my laptop doesn’t do all that much gaming, it does tend to run a bit warm, and any help I can get is appreciated."

Link: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/LG-Accolade-VX5600-Cell-Phone-Review/1075
Here is a snippet: "Walk into AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, or any electronic store and you will find an increasing number of smart phones and a dwindling number of basic phones. There is, however, still a need for basic phones that are focused on making and receiving calls. Luckily there are still a few available. We decided to take a look at LG’s newest offering in this venue – the LG Accolade VX5600."

Lenovo IdeaPad V460 Review
"Maybe you can have it all. Despite a notebook market fragmented into various extremes – from netbooks that can barely play YouTube videos to desktop replacements you can barely lift off the desk – a handful of notebooks still manage to find some middle ground. Lenovo’s attempt to balance size, power, and price manifests as the IdeaPad V460, an aluminum-clad, 14-inch notebook with both integrated and discrete graphics for power when you need it and battery life when you don’t."

Two Cirago Bluetooth 3.0 USB Micro Adapters

Bluetooth 3.0 is here, for the most part anyway, at least it’s here officially, but we’re not really seeing many devices incorporating it just yet. Several companies have already introduced micro USB Bluetooth 3.0 dongles that can help you get prepared, one such company is Cirago and they’ve sent me over two for review. A Class 1 device that has a range of 333Ft, and a Class 2 device that has a range of 30ft. These aren’t Bluetooth 3.0 +HS devices, these are just the standard Bluetooth 3.0 specification so don’t expect super speeds from them, they’re very similar to Bluetooth 2.0 specs actually.

Many exhibitors provide advanced technical insight as well as previews of their future technologies in action.
