Qink Comes to iOS Devices for Free Mostly

Well you can get the first two levels of Qink for free, and then you can unlock the rest via a 99 cents in-app purchase. I see this as an odd trend in making people spend their money, getting them hooked on the game and then they have to pay for the rest. I’m not sure what I think of that, but I’m leaning towards not liking it.

QINK is a spatial 3D puzzler in which players touch, twist, and fold colors to complete each cubic level across 4 distinct seasons. What has resulted is a zen-like challenge that is as beautiful as it is mind-bending.  The first two seasons of levels are freely available, and players can unlock an additional two seasons — including the added challenge of translucent color mixing — with a single in-app purchase ($0.99).
