(Re)Enabling Group Texts and Emails

A while back we showed you the new group text and email feature in 6.5.2. There were rumors floating around that MS was going to remove this from future releases as it was not a popular feature. In many of the recent ROMs the feature is missing. It turns out that MS did not remove the ability to do group texts and emails – they just disabled it. So all you need to do to enable it is a little registry change:

HKCU\Security\Security\Software\Microsoft\Activesync\Contact Groups – set to 1

That was simple:)
