Constantly fantasizing about writing for us? You can still be a good person if you'd just get therapy here.

Anarchy has broken out at Fort Polk. Soldiers are actually mowing the grass without wearing reflective belts! This won't end well. Chaos.

Mobility Digest Review – Castiv Sidekick guitar mount
by Chris Leiter on November 3, 2010
The mount slides under the strings at the top of the neck on your favorite guitar and snaps together so you can see your music, tabs, a metronome, or – in my case – the Amplitube software for the iRig. Simply attach the Sidekick, adjust the swivel head for viewing angle, and then slide in your device. It’s very simple to setup and use.
I only have one issue with the Sidekick, and it’s about one of the pieces of the device. The clip part which keeps the metal pieces together seems to be looser than intended from the design. Perhaps that piece should have been metal as well?
All in all, I don’t think I’ll be playing the guitar anytime soon without one of these as well. Being able to see the app I’m using while playing is key, and I can’t think of a better way of doing it for my phone.
The Castiv Sidekick is about $29.99 online.
