Hmm…  This doesn’t bode well does it? The Samsung Galaxy Note is on 1 Sale a Day site for $579.99, or $220.00 off the regular price and it’s brand new and not a refurb and it’s unlocked. Shipping I believe is $5 for it, but the point is that I always thought ‘dead’ products went to these deal a day sites?! Didn’t the Galaxy Note just come out recently? Does this mean it’s failing? What does it mean?!?! I don’t know! I’m confused, I don’t understand.. arrghh…  Seriously though I’m not sure what the heck this means for the Galaxy Note but I don’t think it’s a good thing….

  1. I know it’s a phone…uhm a phablet but at $500 the iPad kicks this things ass. Not a direct competitor but it definitely puts the Note into perspective.

  2. The $500+ price is for gadget junkies that have to have the device now and can’t upgrade yet.
Or those brave wealthy T-Mobile customers who want to hack it.
I can’t see buying a device off contract unsubsidized, I am going to pay the carrier anyway, why not let them pay the $400+ difference.
At $299 on contract at AT+T, this device is worth the money.
The ipad does not fit in this conversation about the cost of the Note. 2 totally different devices and use scenarios.
