Samsung Galaxy S3 Lock screen Compromised

OH NO! Looks like the iPhone boys will have a field day with this one, and they should, seeing as how its Android under the gun this time around. According to phandroid, you can bypass the SG3 password by a series of button presses.
- On the code entry screen, press Emergency Call
- Press Emergency Contacts
- Press the Home button once
- Just after pressing the Home button, press the power button quickly
- If successful, pressing the power button again will bring you to the S3′s home screen.
I must admit, I’ve been leaning into Apple heavy for this very same thing, I am surely surprised to see Android in the cross hairs. Oh well, that’s how the cookie crumbles. I suppose the only secure kid on the block remains Windows Phone.
