Slacker Radio 2013 New Up and Coming Artist Channel

2013 has kicked off and and for me life isn’t slowing down at all. Between family and work, keeping up Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter there is very little time to explore much else. The one thing that I am always behind in is what’s current in music. I have multiple apps on my devices which includes several premium accounts. What I have found is that because of time constraints I mainly listen to playlists. I almost never listen to the radio unless it is local news. So I am always behind the curve on new artists unless I eavesdrop on my kids. But thanks to Slacker I won’t have to count on my kids for new artists!
Slacker Radio has launched a “New Station Highlights Slacker¹s Picks for 2013¹s Most Promising Up-and-Coming Artists”. This isn’t just a handful of quick picks either. Slacker has picked over 30 artists in multiple music genres. There is something for everyone. You can check out the list of new artists below.
Slacker has an app for just about every device you can think of and is also available through the web. There is even an app on my Windows 8 Ultrabook. I subscribe to the premium service because of the power to search and listen to any artist I want as well as listening to albums. What is especially helpful for me is the offline caching of up to two playlists or channels. So now when I fly on those long business trips I can still take my music with me, just the way I want it. My other favorite part of Slacker is the 6 live news channels from ABC as well as the multiple live ESPN channels from different cities. Slacker also has a free ad based app also if you are more of casual listener.
