IN-WIN AMMO USB Hard Drive Enclosure @ TechwareLabs

Quote: There are a lot of hard drive enclosures out there. No, really! Go punch "USB HDD enclosure" into Google or NewEgg some time, you’ll be buried in them. This makes it rather hard for any one enclosure to have much success. Generally, the only way to stand out is to make it a funny shape, or offer some unusual feature. IN-WIN have decided to do both with the AMMO 2.5" HDD enclosure, shaping it like the magazine of an AR-15 and offering hardware-based encryption with RFID token-based access. Is this combination enough to make it worth your while? Let’s find out.

Vantec NexStar CX SuperSpeed Edition HDD Enclosure @ Pro-Clockers

Review link: http://pro-clockers.com/enclosures/1466-vantec-nexstar-cx-superspeed-edition-hdd-enclosure.html

One of the leaders today in HDD enclosure is Vantec. Producing enclosures for laptop drive and desktop, Vantec can be seen everywhere. Vantec was nice enough to recently send over their new NexStar CX model. Unlike the NexStar 3 we reviewed a few months ago, the CX has a simpler look. But it still offers the reliability and quality but not the shiny exterior of the NexStar 3. But one thing they do share is performance based on the new SuperSpeed technology.

However, Gateway has put a HD capable GPU and a Blu-ray player inside the Gateway NV59C09u to attract the multimedia user who likes to watch movies, too. Editorial: Why you should like the Apple iPad
QUOTE: "Let’s be honest here. At over 2.2 Million iPads sold worldwide, you don’t have to convince a whole lot of people what’s so great about the iPad. Apple seems to be doing a good enough job with that as it is. As one of those 2.2 Million, though, I’m the proud owner of a 64GB 3G + WiFi iPad.
Did I need it? – No, but honestly, most the stuff I buy I don’t need, so it’s hardly a reason not to buy one. So, why did I buy one? Well, to be honest, I’ve never used a phone as much as my iPhone and I don’t make a whole lot of calls on it. Most of my conversations with people these days are done over MSN."

Pantech Pursuit

Today for review I’ve got the new Pantech Pursuit for AT&T, this is a rather special phone in that it’s the first touch screen phone from Pantech and I have to say that I’m impressed with it overall. My first impression was that it actually reminded me of the Kin One, it’s shaped just like it, about the same size and it’s a slider, bit it’s totally different and unique. The interface actually reminds me of Android, but it’s not, but it works very similar to it in some respects like that it slides back and forth and you can add shortcuts and icons to the separate screens. Anyway, let’s continue on…

Verizon Wireless LG Ally

Today for review I’ve got another phone for you, this time one for the Verizon network, it’s the LG Ally, an Android based phone that they’re calling a superphone. The Ally is running the newer version of Android, and for the most part it seems similar to other versions, but it does seem much snappier and quicker, but it could be the hardware in the phone that helps that along. I’ve enjoyed my time with this phone, it has a nice sized full QWERTY keyboard, yes it’s slider, but the buttons are nice to type on for whatever you’re doing be texting or sending an email. I’m surprised with the battery life, it’s very good, my experience with Android based phones and battery life hasn’t been a good one, but the LG Ally can last a couple days without recharging it. The Ally also features a decent 3.2Mp camera that even has a macro mode, so read on to learn more about a fairly decent phone from Verizon and LG…
