Samsung Galaxy S3 Lock screen Compromised

OH NO! Looks like the iPhone boys will have a field day with this one, and they should, seeing as how its Android under the gun this time around. According to phandroid, you can bypass the SG3 password by a series of button presses.

1. On the code entry screen, press Emergency Call
2. Press Emergency Contacts
3. Press the Home button once
4. Just after pressing the Home button, press the power button quickly
5. If successful, pressing the power button again will bring you to the S3′s home screen.

I must admit, I’ve been leaning into Apple heavy for this very same thing, I am surely surprised to see Android in the cross hairs. Oh well, that’s how the cookie crumbles. I suppose the only secure kid on the block remains Windows Phone.
