I think Xbox is a powerful brand and they should let it grow with the technology. I would leave it just plain Xbox.
I agree just call it Xbox and let the technology grow. Its not like there needs to be a yearly numerical update. When a special edition comes out that makes it easy to clarify i.e. Xbox: Black Ops Special Edition.
