Windows 8.1 Tips: How to Take Screenshot on Windows 8 Tablet?
|Ok, you bought/got a Windows 8 or Windows RT tablet during the holiday promotions. Even though they all come with optional keyboards, you didn’t get one or you left that keyboard at home and took the tablet for a road trip. You are used to Windows Laptops or Desktops and you have the luxury of Print Screen key, which takes screenshots for you to present the story. If you are wondering how to take a screenshot on your Windows 8 or Windows RT (such as Surface RT, Surface 2 or Nokia Lumia 2520, Asus VivoTab RT),
here is the way to handle that. Now just press Windows Key and Volume Down key and it will take the screenshot for you. If you press the Windows Key with Volume Up key, you will hear the on screen reader Windows Assistant enabled. Hope this helps.
Yep. Had to figure that out on my Acer W3 tablet which is keyboard less (is that a word). Now I just need a way to remember that damn key combination.
