ZAGG Introduces New ZAGGsparq 1220
|Hmm.. a decent external battery for only $39.95 that can not only charge phones but tablets as well. The ZAGGsparq has been upgraded and it’s now the ZAGGsparq 1220 which is an external battery, but it also has built-in prong so it doubles as a regular wall charger for your devices.
The ZAGGsparq 1220 is an updated version of the company’s popular ZAGGsparq™ line of portable backup batteries for mobile gadgets, and the first of several new power products planned for the coming months. The 1220 milliamp battery can charge any portable device – such as a smartphone or tablet – to extend the battery life when you need it most. The ZAGGsparq 1220 also features an updated, stylish design, lower price point and built-in prongs that allow the ZAGGsparq 1220 to double as a wall charger, eliminating the need for an extra power adapter.
“We are very excited to bring the latest product in our award-winning ZAGGsparq line to Target,” said Derek M. Smith, chief marketing officer of ZAGG. “Millions of guests at Target will love how the ZAGGsparq keeps their beloved devices running with extended power on-the-go.”
The ZAGGsparq 1220 retails for $39.99 and features a one-year warranty.

1230mAh is not very much, especially for a tablet. I have couple 3000mAh chargers that cost $5/$10 less. And an 1800mAh, with a power plug, that costs $15 less. They all work as advertised. Are we paying for a brand name here?
