AT&T Adds HP Mini 110 Netbook

AT&T announced today that they would be expanding their current offering of Netbooks by introducing the HP Mini 110 Netbook.  The HP Mini 110 Netbook will support AT&T’s 3G network and come with Microsoft Windows 7 loaded on it. The HP Mini 110 Netbook will also have:

• 10.1 inch LED anti-glare widescreen display
• 1GB of memory
• Intel Atom processor
• 160GB hard drive
• HP webcam with an integrated microphone
• Microsoft Windows 7
• Weight 2.57lbs

The HP Mini 110 Netbook will cost $199 from AT&T with a two year contract included and will be available November 22nd nationwide.

he $199 netbook pricing requires the purchase of a new two-year AT&T DataConnect plan – including a 200MB plan option for a newly reduced price of $35 per month or a 5GB plan for $60 per month (Other charges apply. See below.**). AT&T DataConnect plans offer consumer and small business subscribers access to the nation’s fastest 3G network, along with free use of AT&T Wi-Fi service, featuring more than 20,000 hot spots nationwide.

The $60.00 a month for 5gb of Data is a little steep, but it is up to you to decide the value of staying connected is worth that much. (ouch that’s a lot!)

With a starting weight of 2.57 pounds, the HP Mini 110 offers a 10.1 inch LED anti-glare widescreen display, 1GB of memory, an Intel Atom processor, a 160GB hard drive(1), and an HP webcam with an integrated microphone. It comes with HP QuickSync to enable automatic synching of files saved on the Mini with a home or work PC when connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
