Music-01-741x416In October, Microsoft launched Music Deals, a universal app that ever Tuesday, brings you free and discounted songs and albums.

For the next 4 days, there are 100 free albums that are sure to have something for everyone. These are good albums, too.

I wish they had a list, but I can’t find one so you’re just going to have to go and take a look for yourself. (oooo! Quadrophenia! Tron: Legacy!)

They’re free, so if you have Windows 8.1 or a Windows Phone (I’m guessing at least 8, possibly 8.1) go take a look. I’m sure it will be worth a few minutes of your time.

  1. A couple of addendums that have come out of our email discussion:

I don’t have an Xbox Music subscription, and I was able to download albums, so that isn’t a requirement.

Applying to Windows Phone: When you select an album, select the Get It button, then press on the $0.00 price next to the cover art to be directed to the buy-or-cancel billing screen. Items will be downloaded in order.

  2. Good find. And even better that you don’t need an XBox Music subscription. Downloaded 13 albums . Sweet.
