iPhone sees Facebook and Google+ App updates

facebook-google-plus-updatesA few very good updates happened yesterday for iPhone owners with the Facebook and Google+ apps. The Facebook app seemed to be feeling the pressure from Google+ and finally added the ability to share external links. It is a slightly elongated process where you have to actually click and open the link before you can share it. I did wish that they would add a post sharing ability that would be lumped into the like and comment box but maybe on the next go around. Some design and bug fixes round out the list of changes that you can see below in the screen shot.

Google+ was not to be outdone as they added support for resharing (sweet) as well as some behind the scenes bug fixes and performance improvements. Head on over to the App Store and download the new version or update your existing apps.
