Morgan Stanley: Microsoft To Have 15% Market Share Within 2 Years
by David K on September 23, 2010
The Street did an article on Windows Phone 7 today and in it they quote a Morgan Stanley analyst who predicts that Windows Phone 7 will attain 15% of the OS market share within 2 years. Doesn’t sound like a lot to you? Currently RIM is 18%, Android 17% and Apple at 14% according to the article (those numbers are in dispute but they give you a sense as to market share size). Of course, within two years they also think Android will be at 30%, Apple at 25% and RIM and Nokia to be at 15% so MS won’t be in front but that’s not bad for two years. What do you think? Is this guy close? Throw out your predictions.
