Netflix announced earlier today that they have updated their Android app with a new interface that looks pretty cool. I was never a very big fan of the old layout. Now you can “swipe through multiple rows of titles with larger artwork” which is lot different than scrolling vertically  with smaller icons and just two rows that bogs down. So in addittion to the Android Tablet App that got updated, Netflix also said that  a “new tablet experience should be available for members with iPads in a few weeks”. So stay tuned and we’ll let you know when Netflix releases the new app for iPad owners as well.

  1. The term Post PC’ is just a buzz word that Jobs made up in order to sell ipads. If you actually think about it for a sonecd and do a little research, you will see that the tablet has been around for many years prior to the ipad. Yes the tablet was a niche product, but they did exist. The ipad is primarily a media consumption device, so in it’s current form the tablet will never replace the PC. Also why would Apple want to cannibalize its own Laptop/Desktop market?
