We told you already that Samsung has been having some GPS problems with the US Launched Galaxy S that comes as the AT&T Captivate and T-Mobile Vibrant. Samsung even released a website for help with this issue called  GalaxySHelp.com.

Now through their Twitter page they have said that they have been working on the problem and that they are “We’re testing software to optimize GPS on US Galaxy S. Expected updates avail. in Sept. Details & Download to follow.”

So that is some good news for the Galaxy S crowd. Short of the GPS Issues, I have been hearing a lot of positive comments about the Captivate. If you got one, let us know what you think.

Stay tuned and we will keep you posted on the GPS Update.

  1. Love my Captivate! With the GPS issues resolved (assuming they actually can and will) and some Froyo love, it’ll definitely be one of the best Android devices available.
