Simple Mobile Makes Data Unlimited
A new company has popped up, I just got this press release about Simple Mobile that is offering unlimited plans for relatively inexpensive prices. They’re offering 3 different plans, but the main plan is $60 for unlimited talk, text and data which is a great deal truly… and it supposedly works with all smartphones..
Today, Simple Mobile is once again saying “no” to compromises in the world of wireless by offering unlimited data plans to those looking for a better way.

For just $60, customers can get Unlimited Talk, Text and Data, making Simple Mobile the only nationwide GSM service provider offering unlimited everything at that price point, and with no contract. This is just the latest in a series of movements Simple Mobile has made to provide the best in wireless at a tremendous price.
“We’re getting a lot of attention in the industry right now,” says Simple Mobile VP, Strategic Alliances, Richard Wong. “We’re offering service on a level that today’s sophisticated wireless users demand, but at a much lower price. There are a lot of people asking how Simple Mobile has made such a major impact in the unlimited segment in such a short period of time; well, here’s the answer: we get the customer, and the customer gets us. Simple.”
The new monthly plans include:
- $40 Unlimited Talk and Text
- $50 Unlimited Talk, Text and 100MB Data
- $60 Unlimited Talk, Text and Data
These new plans work in all smartphones, allowing customers to BYOP (Bring Your Own Phones) to get Unlimited everything through Simple Mobile, while holding onto the phone they love so much.

Make sure you look at the approved devices list, my Touch Pro isn’t on the list. Also, you will need to unlock you phone. Easy enough, especially for at&t users, since they lost the class-action lawsuit, all you have to do is email them.
Throw in unlimited international calls and I’m in. From what I recall this runs off T-Mobile’s network and can even do 3G in some parts of the country.
They have an international plan for $10.00 monthly, doesn’t say if unlimited or not, but I bet you it is unlimited.
Oooppss… looks like AT&T is their provider.
While they say ‘unlimited’ data, when you go to purchase the plan, they really mean 150MB of data. Not sure what additional data costs…,.
It’s actually through T-mobile, not AT&T. But the data is limited to 1GB/month. It’s not stated on their website anywhere. But, when I hit 1GB in 2.5 weeks of my first month, my data plan was canceled without warning for the rest of the month.
@Eric: how do you know, or find out if you are getting close to the 1g mark of data service before you are cut short?
