tmobilemicrosimIf you are locked to T-Mobile and always had a  fancy for Apple products, especially the iPhone 4, good news as T-Mobile has just announced that they will have Micro SIM cards available. It’s not hard to find a used iPhone 4 on ebay or craigslist.com, or you can buy the device outright off contract. Of course the normal unlocking blues still apply, but once unlocked, all you have to do is pop in the new T-Mobile Micro SIM cards and you are good to go.

“Already have a GSM phone or iPhone that you need to activate—or have an unlocked GSM phone you want to use on the T-Mobile network? Just get a Micro SIM card and choose a plan. Slip the ready-to-use Micro SIM Card into your phone and you’re ready to go.”

This move may not come as a big surprise as AT&T is in the midst of acquiring T-Mobile if it passes the governments anti-trust examination it is currently getting. Another reason could be the more than one million iPhones T-Mobile is currently supporting. I can’t tell you if T-Mobile will get acquired by AT&T or not, but what I can tell you is you can now use your unlocked AT&T iPhone 4 on T-Mobile’s network easier with their new Micro SIM card.

  1. Damn Apple Blogs! LOL Thanks for the heads up. It is interesting that T-Mobile has 1m iPhones on their network currently. Speaks volumes for how bad AT&T is and what we can expect if the acquisition goes through.
