The New WM Keyboard

I just installed NRGZ latest and greatest and with it came a new onscreen keyboard. This is the stock MS keyboard (not HTC’s). We’ve seen pics of it in the past but I hadn’t seen it implemented in a ROM. It’s pretty WP7 looking but it’s far less advanced. It doesn’t smart detect text entries (and change to include an “@” symbol when typing email or “.com” when IE for example). It also has one pretty strange thing going on. Look at the placement of the letters ‘o’ and ‘p’ and see where they are. Now look at your keyboard. Yeah, they’re in the wrong spot. When you start to type you know something is wrong immediately…

From a finger friendly perspective, it’s actually not that bad. It’s a lot better than the old version and overall it’s a fine onscreen keyboard…except for the letter layout of course:)
