WiMoSpeed Overclock App for the HTC Touch Pro 2

touchpro2I know there are a lot of you that are still waiting for your 2 year contract with AT&T to run out after getting the Tilt 2 from AT&T. If you are one of them, then before you take the dive into Windows Phone or another platform, why not have some fun and wind that TP2 up a bit? From XDA Developer member iwfratz come a very cool looking Overclocking App that “manipulates the values WM uses for clock control, so it works reliably on battery and AC without any scripting or active components.” The App is called WiMoSpeed and can be downloaded from this thread at XDA:

I have not tried this App yet on my hibernating because of “lack of use” Tilt 2, but let it be known that overclocking can cause damage to your device, so use this at your own risk. I can’t wait to get home and crank up my Tilt 2 and try this out. I have felt badly for neglecting it and never did sell it. Now I have a good reason to have kept it.
