on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 site states that the release date of WP7 is “Holiday 2010.” I just want to clarify what that likely means. When Windows 7 (desktop) was pre-announced they had a goal of 2009 Holiday. The actual public release occurred on October 22, 2009. Presumably, when MS uses the phrase ‘holiday’ this is the time frame they are referring to. I note this because I thought we were looking at a December release date. That’s good news for us…bad news for the software team that’s going to need a lot of coffee to get this ready.
