Xbox Live is now Xbox Windows Phone and lost the aesthetics

Shoot 1Up is now in Marketplace. It’s an Xbox Live title…I mean an Xbox Windows Phone title. Yeah look at that banner on top of the apps icon. The former style of Xbox Live was a lot cleaner. This branding is a lot more prominent but I have to say, a little less Metro…uhm Modern.

Damnit Microsoft, think twice when you name something so you don’t need to  change it. That includes Windows RT – the OS version, not the code…screw it.

meh whatever.. but I do know that it was never actually called ‘metro’ … it was metro style, but never just metro… and frankly I’m glad they’re getting away from it… every time I saw metro I’d think of the term metrosexual and guys using hair products in excess…

But I like that my friends on XBoxLive can see “Oh she has a Windows Phone”
