Apple Now Seeding iOS 5.0.1 to Select Users
|It is hard to predict what Apple will do next. Last week Apple released two beta updates for 5.0.1, which is unusual considering that these will be incremental updates.
Apple seems to be at loss for words concerning the serious iPhone battery bug. 9to5Mac is reporting that Apple is seeding iOS 5.0.1 to consumers. The software is still considered to be in beta though, and is only available to select end users
Apple has been inviting customers who have been complaining about the battery problem to take part in the beta testing. It seems that the selected customers are being referred by Apple’s customer support department, AppleCare.
They are currently in the third stage of beta testing, so one would think that they are getting close to a public release, but this Apple so its hard to tell.
