AT&T Named the Best Provider for Mobile Phone and Data Coverage Worldwide

So it seems AT&T isn’t as bad as we all think they are, at least according to business travelers. AT&T has just been named the best provider for mobile phone and data coverage worldwide, this is according to Business Traveler magazine. I never heard of the magazine but then again I work from home so I’m not exactly a business traveler am I?  Maybe some of you readers out there who do travel can weigh in on it with your thoughts?

AT&T* announced today that it was selected as the “Best Mobile Phone/Data Provider” in the 2012 Best in Business Travel Awards, conducted by Business Traveler (BT) magazine.  The annual survey gives readers the chance to voice their opinions in support of companies that have made their business travel even easier and more efficient.

Past BT surveys featured separate voting categories for mobile phone coverage and data coverage, with AT&T being selected as having the “Best Mobile Phone Coverage in the World” for four consecutive years**.  This year, however, BT consolidated the two categories; the result—readers selected AT&T as delivering the best all-around wireless experience.
