Blogger Claims to Be First to Kill a TV with Kinect
|The new expansion to come to Xbox is here. Kinect allows users to play games and control various parts of their Xbox with their motions instead of controllers. We all remember when the Wii came out, Wii bowling and tennis player were throwing their controllers left and right.
Without controllers, Kinect seems to be perfectly safe for your TV.. Right? Well I guess some TVs are beyond saving because eventually someone is going to mess up. On his blog, Phil Villarreal writes,
“A public service announcement: Do not under any circumstances play Kinect Sports Volleyball at 1:30 a.m. while standing under a ceiling fan with a dangling chain for a light switch. You could conceivably spike it into your year-old amazing TV, causing it to die with a rainbow LCD teardrop dripping down from the impact wound.
Plus you’ll lose the match by forfeit.”
There is no video to accompany this FAIL.. sorry.
Total Fail!!! lol
It’s going to be the next most frequent game related injury next to the wiimote destruction accidents….
oh microsoft what have you done….
Did anybody not notice the prototype Kinect he’s using? The ends are tapered off and not square like the official Kinect.
Take a look at his picture here: http://becauseitoldyouso.blogspot.com/2010/11/yes-i-am-first-moron-to-break-his-tv.html
This is either fake, or happened long before the official Kinect was released.
FAILLLLLLL!!!!!
