Google absolved of violating Oracle’s patents with Android

After so much noise and smearing Google over copying lines of Oracle’s code (which all looks horrible) the jury has found Google not liable for infringing on Oracle’s Java patents in Android. It’s one of those things that already left a bad smell but this is certainly good news for Google. They have new patent rights on their hands but this one was a biggie as lines of code were copies verbatim and still no liability was found.
