Microsoft Tag and DirecTV Come to Windows Phone

It’s like they wait for the weekends to release the apps…Anyway, the Microsoft Tag Reader is now available so you can scan a tag and be taken to the URL/action automatically.

The Directv app lets you schedule your DVR from your phone.

Both are likely to be popular despite so go download them if you have one.

A great example on how Tag reader can be used is through a new book that was just released today “The Now Revolution” http://nowrevolutionbook.com/ it’s a great book about social media and has Tags throughout the book that you can scan for interactive content!
