Mobility Digest Review: Car Charger with 4 USB Ports and 1 Cigarette Socket

Happy Sunday guys and gals, I’ve got a quick review for you today of a little gadget that I think many of you might find useful. It doesn’t have an official name just ‘Car Charger with 4 USB Ports and 1 Cigarette Socket’ and that’s exactly what it is and what it does. There’s not much more to it than that really, but it will add four USB ports so you can charge four devices at one time, but there’s also the extra power port to charge even more.

If you have GPS, iPhone, iPod, MP3… all the deviece relying on the USB Port to provide power to you, what you can do if they need rejuice at the same time.

Of course, you may buy a Cigar Socket Splitter, but in doing so, you need to put some stickers somewhere inside your car or even put some nails into your car.  It has no problems if your car just cost you some hundreds, if you car cost you some ten thousands, will you still consider to put stick, nails to your car?

What’s in the Box?

The packaging is just a white box, nothing special.

When you open the box you’ll find the adapter is wrapped in bubble wrap for protection. There’s no instructions or anything like that. There’s none needed though.

The adapter features a pass through power adapter along with four USB ports that go around the center. The USB ports are situated so you can plug four thing in without interference.

Impressions / Review:

Installation is simple, just plug it in. My Subaru Forester has several options to plug things in, but I use the one in the front since it’s easier to access. I already have a USB car charger that’s universal actually, I can just switch tips. It fits right in the center then the USB ports are still open for access.

Then I just plugged the USB cable right into the ISB port, and it worked fine for charging my phone.

Well that’s it, there’s not much to this little gadget at all.

Conclusion:

So are you someone that carry multiple devices with you? If you’re reading this site then chances are you are one of those people. You need something like this little gadget to provide power for all of those portable devices.

The price is just where it should be, really it might be a little inexpensive for all it can do for you and just how useful it really is. it’s amazing that something so small and simple can be as useful as it is.
