Navfree USA Turn-by-Turn GPS Navigation for iPhone and iPad
Did I mention it was free Turn-by-Turn GPS Navigation for your iPhone or iPad? I was thinking of a great way to sum up the products but I think their first sentence from the App Store pretty much sums it up:
“NAVFREE The world’s first FREE ‘onboard’ professional GPS navigation software, with turn-by-turn directions, voice guidance, auto-rerouting, live ‘Google’ Search, for the iPhone and iPad. The best GPS navigation software for the iPhone/iPad for FREE.”
Not only do you get the software once for free, but Navfree will also keep rolling out free updates as well for life. Navfree uses OpenStreetMap (OSM) to provide you with full GPS navigation for…free.
Even though Navfree maps are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad, you are still going to need a data connection for at least the first version. All address searches will have to access the latest OpenStreetMap address database.
For more information, head on over to the App Store and check it out.
