Think The New iPad’s Retina Display is So Awesome? Then Why Can’t People Leaving Apple Stores Tell It Apart From an iPad 2?
|This is simply awesome. From The Next Web:
…something funny happened at the Apple Store on Friday: Customers were actually having trouble telling the difference between the two screens. Because of this, we decided to set up a little test and see what happens when the iPad 2 and the new iPad are placed side-by-side.
So they provided a video of real people leading Apple stores…just watch:
The display is certainly sharper – that’s just a fact. It’s more a question of what happens when you hold a tablet at a regular distance and apparently a retina display may not be the end all. I’m sure many of you can tell the difference but it’s interesting to see average people failing what should be a simple test.

my guess is either they are holding it wrong or they are not just holding it close enough…. idiots…. how dare them not see apple’s groundbreaking technology!!!!
Maybe if you hold it wrong it reverts to a lower resolution. Retinagate?
