TomTom Comes to Android
I miss TomTom.. I had it on my older Windows phones and then I had Navigon on my Android phones and now on my HTC Titan I really don’t have anything, or anything like TomTom or Navigon anyway. Sure I could use the maps and such but I prefer separate , dedicated programs for things like navigation. I also prefer my devices to have actual GPS in them and not assisted GPS using cell towers and such. Anyway, I’m rambling on, I’m happy to report that you can now get TomTom on your Android phone. It specifically says phones in the PR, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on a tablet as well. It kind of makes me miss my Android phone now.. Your phone will need to run Android 2.2 at least and have a resolution of 800×480 or 854×480, you’ll also need a whopping 3.7gb of space available!! Price is $37.99 and you can get it now on Google Play…
