UPDATE: XDA Has Reinstated Da_G’s 6.5 WinMo Thread

As many of you know I had posted this article: Breaking News: Microsoft Pulls The Plug On WinMo 6.5 Porting By XDA that caused quite a stir. We had tons of comments and it was later found out that the author of the letter sent to XDA was in fact a Hoax. I held off on writing an update to the Hoax because XDA had not reinstated the links to the ROM or any of the photo’s.

Well look what’s on XDA now:

That’s right! XDA has put one of the most popular ROM Development Image Links back up so you can continue to follow the porting of Windows Mobile 6.5 to the Raphael (Fuze & Touch Pro) by Da_G!

If you are interested in all of the supporting links that led to exposing the hoax, head on over to the comments by “you know who” and “rebelwithoutacause” who did an excellent job sorting out all the information that was being posted by several websites and then posting some links for us. Click HERE and scroll down to the bottom for all the links.

To head on over to XDA and continue following Da_G’s excellent work porting Windows Mobile 6.5 to the Raphael, CLICK HERE. Da_G has a new build 21189 that was released today along with the Kitchen. Remember this ROM is a Beta, and to quote Da_G:

THIS IS EXTREMELY BETA. DO NOT EXPECT IT TO RUN WITHOUT BUGS, IT WILL BE BUGNASTYBUGLYBUGGEROONEYBUGMEGALOPOLIS.
