Verizon stepping up the marketing with the Droid Bionic 4G
|Last week the Verizon Droid Bionic 4G by Motorola finally launched to a lot of press and fanfare. I think I saw a foam number one finger with a Bionic name on it but I can’t be sure. None the less, Verizon cranked out some pretty good commercials with the “Arena” videos that you might have noticed on TV this past weekend. If you didn’t get your fill of the Android Ass Kickin’ Heroine then I got some good news for you. She’s back in a few more videos that are targeting more specific highlights on the Droid Bionic 4G and more specifically Verizon’s ultra fast 4G network.
The first video is called “Rooftop” and for obvious reasons, she ends up on a rooftop and is showing off the Droid’s ability to access files on your home computer and the ease of doing so with Verizon’s 4G LTE. From syncing the Droid Bionic 4G to the accessory docking station and heading out to her rooftop hangout and accessing some engineering prints of some satellites. What? I know but it looked cool. I like the last line, “Control it, and you control everything”
The second video is a bit more (cough) appealing for all you media junkies. Entitled the “Ring” she’s back and pounding (literally) the Droid Bionic’s remote access ability like above by grabbing anything on your computer quickly, using Verizon’s 4G LTE speed of course and playing it on your device. Downloading songs from Amazon, if it’s on your computer it’s as good as on your Droid Bionic 4G. Check out the videos below and watch for them this weekend most likely during football. Any objections?
Decent commercial but what happens when someone who isn’t tech savvy buys the phone then can’t figure out why the auto-sync isn’t working? Somebody better tell them ahead of time that it requires setting up on the computer.
Am I missing something? I’m not an Android user but is there a stock music player in Android that allows for the auto-sync library to be played or does the user have to use a secondary app for that?
