Apple’s iPhone 4 making random Facetime calls Yesterday?
by Doug Smith on November 28, 2010
It seems the Apple discussion board is getting a lot of buzz about the iPhone 4 making random Facetime calls yesterday, 11/27/10. It looks like a lot of the people that have experienced this glitch with Facetime making calls have upgraded to version iOS 4.2.1.
The people who are reporting the random initiation of Facetime making a call were connected to their home WiFi as well as the receiver of the Facetime call also being contacted to their home Wireless Network. There are reports on the discussion board from all over the world as well as Apple iPod Touch’s (4th Generation obviously with Facetime) also have the problem.
For now there is no explanation for the random Facetime calls being made but if you are running iOS 4.2.1 it might be a good idea to disable it until Apple gets the bottom of the problem and gets it fixed.
Stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated.
Thanks Chris L!
