This one takes the cake. We’ve seen games in the past that were NES ROMs were ported to Windows Phones but now NES EMU 7 comes along. It’s an NES emulator for Windows Phones and within the app there are sites to download NES ROMs. So it’s not just an emulator but it lets you download free ROMs from the web. Yes, cool on some level but pretty questionable overall. As far as I know, ROMs are just copies and if you have rights to the original NES title then having the ROM copy is probably ok but come on, anyone think that’s what people are downloading?
Well it’s unlikely to be too popular at $5 without a trial and noted as having choppy sound but let’s see how long this one lasts in the Marketplace.
