iPhone 5 coming in white and will not have NFC

Hot on the heals of a million iPad 2 selling weekend, got some iPhone news to share. It looks like we can definitely count on a white iPhone coming this spring according to Apple’s  Senior Vice President Phil Schiller. In a tweet he says:

“Hi Eric. The White iPhone will be available this spring (and it is a beauty!).

Also, according to The Independent, we can look for the next release of the iPhone to be missing NFC, Near Field Communication. With the lack of implantation of NFC and Google beating Apple to the punch with the Nexus S already having the technology, there is no reason for Apple to rush this through.

Let’s just hope that with the reported rumor that the iPhone 5 will not have NFC, that we can at least hope for a change in design principal to continue and see a 4 inch iPhone 5 retina screen come this spring.
