A couple days ago I wrote about the LG Optimus 2X beast that has got a lot of attention because of the NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual Core Processor that it will be coming with when released in Korea, Asia, and the Europe in the near future. No word was given on the US launch but today RCRUnplugged is reporting that “We also have it on rather good authority that the US carrier for the phone will be T-Mobile.” They go on to say that their sources have said that the US Launch would happen Late February or early March. No word on pricing either.
So T-Mobile is scoring some pretty good exclusives here in the United States, first with the HTC HD7 Windows Phone Device and now the first Dual Core Android Device. Now if they could cook us up a nice commercial with Carly Foulkes we will all be happy campers!
In case you got derailed with images of Carly, the LG Optimus 2X specs:
– 1Ghz Dual-core Processor (NVIDIA Tegra 2)
– 4-inch WVGA screen
– 8GB memory (up to 32GB via microSD)
– 1,500 mAh battery
– 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front camera
– HDMI mirroring
– 1080p MPEG-4/H.264 playback and recording
