Microsoft Chooses the Top Health Apps For WP7

Microsoft held a contest to see what the top health and life science apps were for Windows Phones and they’ve now announced ten winners of a 4gb Xbox 360 with Kinect (sick prize). One of the winners is an app I personally use as well as some of the writers here and that’s 6 Week Training that is both free and rocking 5 stars and we all love it. Anyway, It’s a neat contest and the winners are noteworthy, so let’s share them here:

6 Week Training is an easy-to-follow program to help you reach your goals in the following exercises:

  • 100 pushups

  • 200 sit-ups

  • 200 squats

  • 150 dips

After taking the initial test for each of the exercises the program will put you in the appropriate workout level and keep track of your workout. After week two, four, and five there is an Exhaustion Test that will determine which level of the program is right for you in the following week.
