MobilityLeaks: Winning!

Winning-ProposalDavid K: At a meeting that started at 10. We have all been using our phones heavily. I have five hours of battery left. There are four iPhone users here…all taking turns with one charger. None of them are above 20% remaining regardless of how much they’ve been using their phones.

Walter: iOS7 is a massive battery hog.

Jeremy: No issues for me really.  Nice I can now go more than 3 hours without having to charge my phone.  🙂

David K: They had the "don’t upgrade to iOS7" chat. Half were upgraded and half weren’t…all sucked.

Murani: Every single time I travel the airport power stations are being hogged by iphone/ipad users. Its ridiculous and nobody seriously cares. A ton of stuff Apple users let Apple get away with.

Jimski: Maybe Nokia/Microsoft can add some circuitry, so you can use a micro-USB to micro-USB (or actually Thunderbolt) so you can give your fellow iPhone user a boost when they need it. Like helping someone on the road who has run out of gas.

Would make for a hell of a good commercial. See, Windows Phones are good at something.

Stephen: I carry a battery charger (specifically an iGo Green that I got on sale quite a few years ago). I occasionally have to use it to revive my L920, but with a wireless charging plate at home and my office and a USB port in the car, I rarely find it necessary to use. That being said, I have loaned it to friends on a few occasions when their L900’s go dead. My one friend in particular lives on Twitter, and with that AMOLED screen lit all the time it often goes dead on him before the end of the day. If that nice Nokia one would come to the US, I’d buy him one for Christmas/birthday.

Murani: I use a mobile power bank. Its made traveling so much easier as it can recharge my entire battery. Now I travel and use the power bank and camera grip and when I’m done flying still have a full battery left.

Murani: I bought my daughter a battery powered charger and have been meaning to pick one up for myself.
