The streaming music app Spotify is not available for Windows Mobile 6.x (in the past there were third party clients but nothing official) and it’s also been announced for Windows Phone 7. The features are:

· Search, browse and play millions of tracks
· Stream over WiFi or 2.5/3G – All your existing playlists are available
· Offline playlists – Play your music without an internet connection
· On-the-fly sync – Every track you add to a playlist appears on mobile and computer
· What’s New tab
· Wirelessly sync your local files to your phone
· Starred tracks – tag all your favourites into a special list

Here’s a demo of it for 6.x:

“Windows Phone users can download the new app directly by visiting m.spotify.com, and it will also be available for download on Windows Marketplace for mobile shortly.” It should be noted that to use it on a mobile you need to be a premium subscriber with a £9.99 per month which is more than a Zune Pass.
