Smaato has released their Q2 mobile ad metric reports and like last quarter, Windows Phone came up on top:

They do note that there’s beginning to be  gap in that there’s more and more mobile inventory but the budget for mobile advertising is not growing at the same rate. The consequence is not being able to fill ads or selling ads at discounts so developers may be seeing this as well. But given these barriers, you’d still want to be on a platform with high click-through rates so at least WP7 is holding some ground here.

  1. Does this mean windows phones are spreading like wildfire out in the concrete jungle? Cuz I haven’t seen that many out there, just me and a friend of mine have windows phones, lets hope we get more traction, and a bigger following.
